Tony Bolivar has been teaching and performing professionally as a musician for over fifty years. A veteran of the United States Air Force Band, and a graduate of San Jose State University, is co-founder and mentor of a popular and in demand special needs band, the Dream Achievers. He has performed with many notable Coachella Valley entertainers including Mark Gregg, Brad Mercer, Frank DiSalvo, Johnny Meza, Patrice Morris, Keisha D with Hearts of Soul, Carol Davis, Sharon Sills, Brigitte Valdez, Christine Love, Sergio Villegas, The Funk Monks, Maryse Nicole, Tim Burleson, Jack Ruvio, and many more. Usually accompanied by his wife Teresa on piano, Tony is Music Director and Associate Pastor at Las Palmas Community Church. He loves using the vehicle of music to help set an atmosphere conducive to worship, praise, and adoration. He has been married to Teresa for over thirty five years and they have three wonderful adult children. He is currently on the board of directors and is the Programs Facilitator for the Spirit of the Desert Foundation, which provides Musical Instruments and instruction to young students in the Coachella Valley. He hosts an annual jazz concert in Carmel, and arranges the music and conducts an annual music camp in the bay area for special needs students.
